Christopher Bouton (owner & operator) envisioned Bouton Physical Therapy in 1990 when he sustained a spinal cord injury in college that kept him recovering in the hospital for 18 days. Chris knew during that stay that his destiny was to become a Physical Therapist and deliver not just great care but extraordinarily great care to his patients that focused on each person individually.
Chris received his Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY and went on to receive his Physical Therapy degree at SUNY Upstate Medical in Syracuse, NY. He then came home to Rome, NY to practice along side his mentor, Tom Wick for a few years before opening his own clinic, Bouton Physical Therapy in 2001. Bouton PT has expanded over the years to meet the demands of the surrounding areas patient care needs and looks forward to meeting you should you ever need therapy.
