Patients should only come to the door at their appointment time - they will be asked to wait in their car if early (new patients should still arrive 15 minutes early). Spouses, family and caregiver are not allowed through the front door unless necessary. If so they will be allowed in to help but asked to wait in their car until the treatment is over.

Peninsula Physical Therapy in Belfair was established in 1999 under the name Kitsap Physical Therapy and Sports Clinics of Belfair with Mark Dutton, PT., as the primary therapist and manager.

Kitsap Physical Therapy and Sports Clinics is a group of privately owner and highly respected physical therapy clinics located throughout the Kitsap Peninsula. KPT was founded by Mike Danford, PT in 1979. Mark Dutton, PT., purchased the Kitsap PT of Belfair in 2001 and his wife, Alyson Dutton, OTR/L, CHT soon joined the therapy team and added Certified Hand Therapy to the clinical specialties.

The Belfair clinic was an independently owned facility that shared the name Kitsap Physical Therapy and Sports Clinics with a respected group of private practices on the Washington Peninsula.
Mike Danford, PT started Kitsap Physical Therapy in 1979 and rapidly expanded through the area, over time bringing on new therapist as owners.
As patients and doctors became familiar with the quality of therapy and the results obtained with their treatment programs, Kitsap PT in Belfair underwent several remodels and moves in both 2005 and again in 2009.
