A lifelong resident of Wayne, Rich opened Jaeger Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine in 2001. From the beginning, his dream was to open a practice that provided high quality care in a friendly, energetic environment. Rich earned a Bachelor of Health Science from Lock Haven University and a Masters of Physical Therapy from Temple University. Prior to opening Jaeger Physical Therapy, Rich was the Supervisor of Outpatient Physical Therapy at Chilton Memorial Hospital.
Rich is a certified McKenzie Practitioner, which is advanced training in diagnosis and treatment of spinal disorders including neck and back pain. He is also a certified A.R.T. Therapist - Active Release Technique methodology. A.R.T. is a specialized technique utilized in management of all soft tissue disorders such as muscle injuries, ligament/tendon injuries, and neck/back pain.
Rich has 20+ years' experience in sports medicine and fitness. He is extremely proud of the fact that many of his patients continue their exercise program upon discharge from therapy even though they did not exercise prior to undergoing physical therapy.
