I chose Physical Therapy so that I could work everyday in a profession where I can help others overcome difficult obstacles. I care about people deeply and I am passionate about how physical therapy can change the lives of others. Chandler became a therapist because she feels that PT is a harmonious marriage between teaching and science. She grew up in Austin, Texas and played sports in college, where she experienced first-hand the impact that physical therapy can have.
She got her doctorate in physical therapy at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. She got married in October of 2020 to her now husband, Murray, whom she met at her water baptism, and she enjoys running and going to the beach in her spare time. Kathy is from Brunswick, Ga. She did her undergraduate at the University of GA with a BSEd. in Exercise and Sports Science in 2013.
She received Doctor of Physical Therapy from Emory University in 2018. She states, "I love physical therapy because we use exercise and manual techniques to help patients decrease pain and improve their independence."
