After surgery, patients tend to have swelling, pain, stiffness, loss of motion, weakness, decreased function, scar tissue development, and difficulty walking or going up and down stairs.
Physical therapy can help by performing specific exercises at home and in the clinic to help regain your strength and range of motion, which in turn helps reduce pain and get you back to normal or daily activities.
Here we will focus on your muscle and the joints affected by whiplash and trauma.
Therapy will decrease your pain, increase your motion and give you ideas to reduce the tension that may remain after the incident.
A chronic swelling of the arm, leg, trunk and/or head and neck usually caused by damage to the lymph vessels from radiation, trauma, or a genetic defect.
Compression therapy, manual lymph drainage massage, exercise, and skincare techniques are used to reduce the swelling and prevent its return.

B Stong is a form of BFR (Blood Flow Restriction), which modifies the blood flow to the limb during exercise to make the brain think the muscle is working hard.
B Strong uses inflatable bands worn around the upper portion of the arms and/or legs to safely slow the blood in the limb.
The pelvic floor consists of a group of muscles within the pelvis that help support pelvic organs and have an important role in controlling bowel, bladder and sexual function.
When muscles of the pelvic floor are not functioning properly, pelvic floor dysfunctions such as urinary and/or bowel incontinence, constipation, and pelvic pain may develop.
Though COMMON, with approximately 1 in 4 women experiencing some variation of pelvic floor dysfunction in their lifetime, they should not be considered NORMAL.
