Movement First Performance Therapy was formed with the idea that treatment should be patient-centered, with a focus on quality over quantity. We are slightly different from your regular PT clinic, in that we believe physical therapy should be offered in a one-on-one setting with the patient having direct contact with a trained provider. MFPT does not use techs or aides during treatment sessions, with patients having individualized attention from a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy for all visits.
I've had to undergo physical therapy a few different times and Abby was the first therapist that offered customized sessions that catered to my specific needs! She was exceptional with her knowledge and professionalism, while at the same time showing true care and concern for my health! I would highly recommend Abby to any athletes trying to recover from injury, anyone trying to recover from a surgery or just anyone needing any type of physical therapy, she is great!
Abby is great at what she does and she helped me get back to my CrossFit lifestyle after having multiple knee surgeries.

Services

Our providers aim to treat in a holistic manner, addressing more than pain at a specific body region.
Care is provided in a one-on-one, cash-pay basis to allow providers to spend more quality time with patients, allowing for greater levels of improvement, and improved results.

Movement First Performance Therapy operates as a cash-pay provider.
This means that services are paid for out of pocket, with insurance not directly billed by the clinic.
Many insurances will allow you to submit a superbill (provided by MFPT) and may provide reimbursement for physical therapy services.
As you likely know, healthcare and insurance are continually changing.
With these changes come reduced reimbursement rates for PT, limitations in what interventions may be performed on the same day, and stricter guidelines for authorized visits.
