Services
To help our patients heal faster and more effectively by providing the best one-on-one, out-patient physical therapy care in the state of RI.
There are no exceptions to this policy.
One on one attention can be accomplished through hands on treatment, open conversation / patient education, and direct observation of exercise performance.
We educate our patients, over-communicate with them, and consult with their other healthcare providers to achieve complete continuity of care.
Patients arrive in pain and we foster a friendly and fun family community that supports our patients as they work to heal themselves with our help.
At Specialized Orthopedic Physical Therapy, we believe that pain and discomfort should have no place in your daily life.
As one of our patients, we will guide you through our process that has helped thousands of patients achieve their goals and return to a fully active life - in the shortest amount of time possible.
We believe developing a one-to-one relationship with our patients is critical to their speedy recovery.
We will carefully explain our findings and a conclusion of your diagnosis so you fully understand what is going on with your body.

We push our bodies hard and put strains on the connective tissues that keep our joints moving.
Over time and with repetitive use these tissues become inflamed and irritated.
Without proper treatment, they can tear and require costly surgery to repair or replace.
If you feel nagging pain in one of your major joints (shoulder, elbow, knee, etc.) that either builds gradually or feels sudden and sharp, you may be experiencing an over-use injury.
In certain severe cases, you may experience reduced mobility at the site as well.
Work injuries are all too common.
We spend 8 or more hours a day on the job and we suffer the aches and pains from repetitive motions, accidents, and muscle strains.
Not only does your pain impact your work, but it impacts the rest of your life, whether it's carrying your child to bed, spending time with your spouse, or playing basketball on the weekends.
If you feel nagging, sudden, or severe pain that is impacting your work and daily life, then you may have experienced a work injury that needs to be treated.
