At Iron Health, we work with individuals from their 20's and above to get them back to what they love. This means a life full of fulfillment, activity, and exercise without the fear of pain holding them back. When you are at sidelines with an achy knee, lower back, neck or shoulder pain, we know you try to overcome it by pushing it aside with hopes it will be gone tomorrow.
Although, that is usually never the case and the pain persists or worsens. Quick fixes such as pain medication and creams only mask the actual issue. In order to progress you must approach the issue with a long term fix. Physical Therapy is just that- a long term approach to healing. Please understand you are not alone. Many individuals are unsure of the proper direction to take when pain and/or injury persists.
At Iron Health, this is a very familiar mindset. Spent time and money seeing a doctor to just be advised to rest and take a prescribed painkiller. If you have experienced any of the above we would love to help.

Do you think having lower back pain is normal?
Maybe you blame it on "sleep patterns" or "spasms" or 'getting older?".We tend to hear this all the time; people think that having lower back pain, stiffness or an ache is normal.
That the pain will "pass."
If this is happening to you, you're not alone - We hear this all the time.
Actually, lower back pain and pain down the leg is one of the most common problems that we solve in our clinic.
Most people think that they cannot do anything about their issues and chances are it will continue to be present until you get some help.

Another common situation, at Iron Health, is our patients come in and say that their physician recommended painkillers, rest, and time.
This advice is usually not the best!
After a few weeks of taking painkillers and resting, you will end up back in the physician's office due to continued or worsened pain.
The physician will then recommend a STRONGER dose of medication and MORE rest.
From this, we understand why so many people are experiencing chronic pain.
Maybe you decided to rest constantly because you've been told that constant movement makes the shoulder pain worse.
