We at About You Physical Therapy believe we are here to love and to serve others. We want to create a relationship with you to help you heal and grow, and are passionately committed to providing the best level of care with effective, research-based techniques. Functional Movement Screening (FMS) is a research-based, field-ready seven-step assessment to prevent injuries and to maximize your physical performance.
Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) is a diagnostic assessment used to systematically, identify the cause of painful symptoms by breaking down dysfunctional movements and patterns to address the core problem, not just treat the symptoms of it. Postural Restoration unlike traditional physical therapy treatments takes a more holistic approach, focusing on identifying common asymmetries within the body that can create neuromuscular patterns that negatively affect muscle function and structural alignment.
The Postural Restoration treatment helps works to address the underlying postural patterns to address the root of the problem, and help to prevent it's re-occurrence in the future.
