Vestibular rehabilitation involves the evaluation and treatment of impairments involving the vestibular system which is located in the inner ear.
Common symptoms of vestibular disorders include: vertigo, dizziness, balance problems, falls, visual disturbance, nausea, vomiting, lack of concentration and fatigue.
The evidence shows that vestibular rehabilitation therapy can be a very effective treatment to address these symptoms.
Specific exercises can help to reduce vertigo and dizziness, improve balance and reduce falls.
