Created with the belief that movement is medicine. Through movement we can improve mobility, improve stability and ultimately improve your daily function. We aspire to strive towards progress as represented by our yellow arrow. However, we recognize that progress looks different for every individual and every situation. Progress doesn't always mean going forward.

Sometimes progress requires taking a step back.back to the fundamentals in order to lay down a better foundation in order to optimize recovery and performance. Sometimes progress means making mental and emotional strides, finding something that will motivate you. And we hope something that gives you that SPARC. Get started on your journey to recovery, rehabilitation and improved performance to get you back to the things you love.

Get ready to break down your barriers, and let us help build you back up.
We at SPARC PT believe that movement is medicine.
We also believe in continually pushing the boundaries of what physical therapy should be, and what it is meant to be.
We strive to help each and every patient get back from their injury, dysfunction, or sense of not being at their best to getting to their best.
Analyzing and retraining the most basic of movements can help to build a bigger, better foundation.
Break it down, to build it back up.
Our team is comprised of staff expertly trained to assist with your biomechanics, functional mobility, proper loading and sequencing of movements to aid in your physical rehabilitation.
They understand that no two bodies are alike and will work with you to get you back on track, within the proper timeline.
Dr. Chris Kwon is the lead physical therapist and founder of SPARC Physical Therapy.
He obtained his undergraduate education from the University of Southern California, and later went on to obtain his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from West Coast University.
If the problem is movement-related, due to injury, pain restricted mobility, weakness, difficulty with activities of daily living, then yes! Physical therapy may also serve as a great alternative for pain management (refer to this article regarding choosing physical therapy for safe pain management).
If you're not sure as to whether physical therapy may benefit you, just contact us.
We accept most major insurance plans, but feel free to call to check for your specific benefits and eligibility.
There are alternative cash options available for those that may consider this a more viable route.
The physical therapy plan of care will usually consist of a combination of manual therapy and exercises designed to achieve goals and optimize function.
Other interventions may also be used, including compression recovery, percussion therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, electrical stimulation, cardiovascular exercise, balance training, etc.
For prospective patients or if you'd like to simply chat to see if SPARC PT is an option for you, please feel free to give us a call at 310 316-8878 or email info@sparcpt.com.
