Ernie is a lifelong resident of Picayune/Pearl River county, except for a couple stops along the way for athletics and school.
He's married to Laura Anne Landrum and is the father of two children, Sam and Sydney.
Ernie graduated from Picayune Memorial High school in 1995 and attended Meridian community college on a baseball scholarship.
After a brief stop at PRCC, he continued his education at Southern Miss where he received a bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology in 1999.
Following USM, he began the Master of Physical Therapy program at the University of Mississippi, graduating in 2002.
